Participation in a programme does not automatically guarantee certification, membership upgrade, professional recognition, employment, promotion, business opportunity, or any specific outcome unless expressly stated in writing by AICM.

Certificates issued by AICM remain subject to verification, internal records, compliance with programme requirements, and any applicable professional standards.

8. Events

AICM may organise physical, virtual, or hybrid events, including conferences, seminars, networking sessions, launches, panels, trainings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.

By registering for or attending an AICM event, you agree to comply with the event rules, registration requirements, venue policies, safety guidelines, platform rules, and professional conduct expectations.

AICM may change event dates, venues, speakers, schedules, themes, formats, or access details where necessary. Where an event is postponed, rescheduled, or materially changed, AICM will make reasonable efforts to notify affected participants.

AICM may refuse entry, remove attendees, or revoke access where a participant behaves in a disruptive, abusive, unsafe, fraudulent, unlawful, or unprofessional manner.

9. Payments, Fees, and Billing

Fees for membership, training, certification, events, resources, or other services shall be as communicated by AICM at the point of registration, application, invoice, or payment.

All payments must be made through approved payment channels provided or authorised by AICM.

You are responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate and that payments are completed within the required timeframe.

AICM may use third-party payment processors. We do not intentionally store full debit or credit card details on our own systems.

AICM reserves the right to withhold access to membership benefits, certificates, programmes, event entry, resources, or other services until payment has been confirmed.

10. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

Refunds, cancellations, deferrals, and transfers shall be handled according to the specific policy applicable to the relevant membership, training, certification, event, or service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Membership fees are generally non-refundable once membership has been approved or activated
  • Training, certification, and event fees may be non-refundable after confirmation, access to materials, attendance, or commencement of the programme
  • Where AICM cancels a paid programme or event without offering an alternative, affected participants may be entitled to a refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduled access as determined by AICM
  • Where a participant fails to attend a programme, event, examination, or assessment without prior notice, AICM shall not be obligated to issue a refund

AICM may permit substitutions or transfers at its discretion, provided the request is made within the required timeframe and the proposed replacement meets the relevant eligibility requirements.

11. User Accounts and Login Details

Where our website or platforms require account creation, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details, passwords, access codes, and account information.

You are responsible for all activities carried out through your account.

You must notify AICM immediately if you suspect unauthorised access, misuse, or compromise of your account.

AICM may take appropriate action in response to misconduct, including warnings, suspension, termination of membership, withdrawal of certification, removal from events, denial of access, reporting to authorities, or legal action where necessary.

14. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, logos, trademarks, designs, graphics, videos, documents, publications, course materials, certification materials, event materials, website content, templates, frameworks, and other intellectual property made available by AICM are owned by AICM or licensed to AICM, unless otherwise stated.

You may access and use AICM materials only for your personal, professional, educational, or authorised organisational use.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, publish, distribute, share, upload, transmit, adapt, translate, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from AICM materials without prior written permission.
